ITM Cares: Turn Essential Items into Real Impact
For too many people in Brighton & Hove, basic essentials are a daily struggle.
At SpringBoard, ITM Cares is turning collective effort into real-world impact by supporting people experiencing homelessness in the city.
Through the ITM Cares Mission, delegates will come together at the conference to assemble rough-sleepers packs from individual items such as toiletries, sanitary products, socks and underwear. These essentials provide warmth, hygiene and dignity to someone facing life without a secure home.
You can make a real difference by donating a sum for us to purchase the items for the packs.
How Your Contribution Helps
We’re proud to partner with Amplify Goods, a social enterprise based in Canning Town, London. They’re not only sourcing all items, but creating paid work experience through the coordination and repacking of those items.
Your purchased items will be collected by our partners, Enterprise, brought to Brighton, and assembled into packs by conference delegates, ensuring your contribution has immediate, tangible impact.

Why It Matters
Homelessness is a serious challenge in Brighton & Hove.
In June 2024, nearly 3,600 people in the city were experiencing homelessness, including around 1,400 children. Homelessness takes many forms - from sleeping rough to living in insecure or unsuitable temporary accommodation - and it can affect anyone. Common causes include loss of employment, family breakdown, mental health challenges, or substance misuse.
